Ah, the French are literally crazy about love.

I'm not sure why, but the french have an extreme way of expressing love.

Recently, I've become obsessed with the song "I'll Kill Her" by SoKo.

I feel really odd about it, too. Like, who loves a song that tells the guy you're into that you want to kill the girl he's currently with. I mean, really? Take a look at the chorus:

I'll kill her, I'll kill her,
She stole my future, she broke my dream
I'll kill her, I'll kill her,
She stole my future when she took you away

The song reflects the glorious "what if's" we all contemplate when flirting with a potential romance.

I would have met your friends,
We would have had a drink or two
They would have liked me cause
Sometimes i'm funny
I would have met your dad,
I would have met your mum, she'd have said,
"Please, can't you make some beautiful babies,"
So we would have had a boy called Tom
And a girl called Susan born in Japan

I thought it was a love story,
But you don't want to get involved
I thought it was a love story,
But you're not ready for that

Me neither.

[Side note: I hate empty "what if's" "maybes" and "some days." ]

If you've ever hung out w/OhMyHeart, OhMySarcasm or myself, you've probably watched or hear of the french movie, "Love Me If You Dare / Jeux d'enfants."

It's a painfully tragic movie about two people, extremely in love but, as wikipedia puts it:

The overarching theme is of a struggle between childhood playfulness and the expectations of the adult world: the characters age significantly over the course of the film, and Julien is forced — several times — to pick between the pink–colored world of fun represented by Sophie, or the expectations, demands, and successes of the adult world represented by his father and his eventual wife and children. Sophie, meanwhile, is content to live her life — as she puts it "a cream puff", becoming a trophy wife to a successful soccer player. Nonetheless, she keeps returning to Julien, despite her superficial satisfaction with what she has.

In the end, they reunite- permanently. See video [spoiler alert].
